Level 1-21 is a level in Ground Hog Day. It introduces the Electric Motor, an engine that strengthens power-dependent parts such as the Electric Fan.
The player is given a 4x2 grid, along with the following parts:
- 1x Ross
- 3x Wooden Frame
- 2x Wooden Wheel
- 1x Electric Fan
- 1x Electric Motor
The player is awarded stars for the following conditions:
- Ross reaches the goal.
- The vehicle does not break.
- The level is completed within 18 seconds.
A simple cart will not be able to reach the goal in time. Rather, the player should make a 2x2 cart, placing an Electric Motor in the left frame and Ross in the right frame, and placing an Electric Fan beside Ross. The Electric Motor should be left on as long as possible, though it should be disabled for a short time right after the cart lands the jump at the end of the level. The patch of rocks at the start may cause the front of the cart to rise; if this happens, turn off the Electric Fan for a moment until the front wheel returns to the ground.
The third star in this level is fairly difficult to obtain due to the cart acting inconsistently, so it may be a good idea to just build a simple cart with an Electric Motor and Electric Fan, then use a Turbo Charge to let it reach the end of the level quickly. Alternatively, the Alien-tier Electric Motor can be used, as it is the most powerful motor in the game.
The hole to the right of the starting area contains a Skull. To reach it, simply place a wheel with the connection point facing to the left, and place Ross on top of it; he will roll down the hole and collect the Skull.
