GUI of achieved Skull
A skull is a collectible, eerie item in Bad Piggies. They appear as the skulls of the normal pigs, Corporal Pigs, and Foreman Pigs. However, the game only has their skulls. So far, there are 45 skulls in the Tusk 'til Dawn update. Their main purpose is to unlock Find the Skulls.
An achievement states that skulls are the remains of “failed explorers/dead explorers”, which not only means that there were at least 45 other inventors before Ross, but that all of them died, making the skulls’ presence more eerie than at first glance.
Usage
The skull acts like a Star Box and a dessert, which the player finds in a level and collects by touching with Ross or a vehicle he's in. After 10 skulls are obtained, the player unlocks the Find the Skulls Sandbox in the level menu, and gains some XP (needs verification.) Any skull can count, and collecting more will just unlock further achievements.
